Grass paper is a sustainable paper with a particularly natural character. A full 40% of the paper is made from grass. The raw material shapes the entire effect of the paper. Visually, the grass comes into its own through many inclusions. Haptically, it gives the paper a noticeable surface structure. The grass even gives the paper a slight inherent smell of hay.
Grass paper is a sustainable paper with a natural look and feel. The grass fibers it contains shape the overall effect of the natural paper, giving it a unique color and the distinctive, characteristic inclusions. Depending on the color of the processed grass stems, the paper may appear slightly yellowish or greenish. Since grass paper is a natural product, slight color variations can occur. Another special feature of grass paper envelopes, papers, and cards is the faint scent of hay.
In the environmentally friendly production of grass paper, 40% of conventional wood pulp is replaced with grass fibers from regional fields. Together with only 60% conventional wood pulp, a sustainable paper is created that can be used professionally. It is FSC® Mix certified, thus communicating sustainability in every respect.
For especially eco-friendly stationery in soft colors, grass paper combines perfectly with the natural paper Crush.
The grass paper range includes one paper quality and two cardboard qualities (each in DIN A4 and DIN A3), as well as Grass Paper Envelopes and Grass Paper Cards in various formats. To get acquainted with the natural paper, we recommend the Grass Paper Sample Pack.
With the included samples, printing and processing tests can be conducted.
